The North Bohemian Museum in Liberec has commissioned TX Robotics to develop and produce a UAV platform for its projects
The North Bohemian Museum in Liberec needed to carry out various projects. These projects included geological and archaeological surveys, where it was necessary to create a digital model of the Earth’s surface (a digital relief model) using a magnetometer or laser scanning. Over time, additional requirements emerged.

The contract for the development of the UAV platform was awarded to TX Robotics in 2021, following a competitive selection process. The project aimed to create a highly specialized system tailored to the museum’s unique requirements. Within a year, the development, testing, and final integration were successfully completed, ensuring that the UAV met all technical and operational specifications. The platform was then delivered precisely as requested, demonstrating TX Robotics’ expertise in innovative UAV solutions and its ability to meet stringent project deadlines.

Components of the contract:
Albatross 1300-HEQ drone, folded in a transport case

Related Services Provided with This Order
As part of this order, we offer comprehensive support, including UAV pilot training for designated categories and beyond. Our services also cover the processing of operational documentation in accordance with applicable regulations. We arrange pilot testing and provide specialized operator training for Lidar, PPM, and Photogrammetry. Additionally, we ensure ongoing support within the framework of the operational contract.

Museum Projects Utilizing the UAV Platform
The UAV platform plays a key role in various museum projects, including mapping subsurface objects and documenting geological phenomena. It aids in studying water runoff from peatlands and supports the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) in search-and-rescue operations. Additionally, it is used for locating and documenting archaeological sites, providing a non-invasive approach to historical research. Through these applications, the platform enhances both scientific studies and practical fieldwork.
Other projects are gradually being added and the cooperation between TX Robotics and the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec is deepening.
